In which tryph sees the lies

Dr. House always said "everyone lies" and I'm inclined to agree.

We lie to ourselves, our friends, our girlfriends and boyfriends, our families and everyone.

I'm not saying they're all giant, important epic lies, but they're lies all the same.

The "I'm just tired" when depression is nearly crippling you.
The "no this is delicious" when it's the worst meal you've eaten, but you know they tried.
The idle "you're gorgeous" when you know they're feeling sad and low.

They're all lies, but they're nothing to write home about.

Then there are the lies that seem to conceal things... What you're doing, where you're going, who you're with... These are the lies that can really hurt, even if it's a simple small lie.

Because if you conceal something, it makes it appear that you have something to conceal.

And secrets, even just implied ones, will  destroy the world.
